Now's your chance...LEARN-TO-CURL!
We are hosting our next learn-to-curl on Monday, April 13, from 6:45pm to 8:45pm. This class is designed for those who have never tried curling before. You will learn the basics of the game, learn how to deliver a stone, throw a few stones, and learn how to sweep. We teach various delivery methods so people of any age or physical ability can curl. All of our activities are wheelchair accessible as well. Come by yourself or, even better, bring your friends and family. We love to meet new people and share the sport we love! We recommend wearing warm, but loose-fitting pants (sweats or track pants). Lots of folks enjoy wearing a warm hat, gloves and knee pads, as well. Bring clean, flat-soled, closed-toe, comfortable shoes and warm socks (Tennis shoes or sneakers work well). Also, don't forget your $25 (cash or credit card) or you won't be able to join in the fun. Space is limited for this event, so please register here. We ask that participants try to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start (so 6:15pm). Please e-mail VicePresident@dfwcurling.com with any questions.
